Hedge Cutting

On Saturday the chap came with his big machine to cut the hedge, and boy did it need doing!
It soon began to take shape,
and the whole garden looks a lot better for it.
Sadly the same can’t be said for our ‘Grassy Bottom’ house sign which didn’t fare quite so well.
We’d recently fixed it into it’s semi-permanent position on a wooden stake driven into the grass verge by the gate, but the chap couldn’t see it from his cab and it was no match for the flailing chains which make short work of the hedges in these parts.
Another chapter in the highs and lows of Grassy Bottom.
