Remember back in September 2014, just after we’d finished the internal renovations, I wrote about the lessons we had learned during the process?
At the time I concluded that if I were 20 years younger I might be tempted to do it all again, but as we know I’m not 20 years younger, in fact we’re both almost 2 years older, and why I thought doing an outdoor project would be easier, I have no idea.
The worst is behind us, but in recent weeks we’ve both had a bad back, Peter has pulled a muscle in his stomach digging and I have ‘De Quervain’s’ tenosynovitis (isn’t the Internet a wonderful thing!!??) in both wrists.
So, would we be tempted to do anything like this again?
This time we’re in complete agreement. NO BLOODY CHANCE.
On a lighter note, the replacement shed doors should be with us on Monday, and I haven’t forgotten that I promised to write about gravel, watch this space!
