Crying Wolf

It’s no secret that I love my car. We’ve had MX5’s for over 25 years, but this 2017 model is by far the best, packed as it is with gadgets and gizmos. It’s array of dashboard warning lights is particularly impressive.

What Doesn’t Kill You – – – –

When I was packing books into boxes a few weeks ago I stumbled upon an old book of poems that had belonged to my mum. Based upon her writing on the flyleaf she had been given it in 1929, probably as a 10th birthday gift. The book is called ‘Junior Modern Poetry’.

The Cinnamon Trust

The Cinnamon Trust is a charity that cares for the elderly, the terminally ill, and their much loved pets, in fact it is the only specialist national charity that helps people and animals in their final years, and I have been a volunteer since January 2012.

To Pack Or Not To Pack?

Once the decision to move had been made and the deals done, the next question was, ‘to pack or not to pack?’ My first instinct was that it was a bit beyond me, and so I got a quote from the removal firm which was quite reasonable considering how much ‘stuff’ I have. But could I really sit looking at it all for the next 8-10 weeks and not DO anything?
