R.I.P. Millie

Yesterday my sister and her husband had to say goodbye to their oldest sheep Millie, following a suspected stroke.
She was just a few days short of her 15th birthday, which is a good age for a sheep!
These are a few of my favourite pictures of her.
Here she is a few years ago sampling the new hay,
she loved her food, right up to the end.
Here she is posing with ‘The Girls’,
Hazel, Fiver and Bluebell.
She was made of tough stuff,
winters are bleak in Scotland.
This was the last time I saw her during my visit in September.
Never too far from the food trug!
R.I.P. Millie (Ryeland) Much loved, sadly missed.
