Xmas Rant
Posted By Judith on 4th December 2018
This is the time of year when I usually burnish my ‘bah humbug’ credentials and go off on a bit of a Xmas rant. But this year things are a bit different as I have small children in my life for the first time thanks to Peter’s niece, who assures me she is just the person I need to banish my previous festive feelings into ‘Xmas past’. I suspect she’s right too.

Last Tuesday I watched the live ‘Martin Lewis Money Programme’ on ITV. I’ve become quite a fan of his recently. Those of you who know me will probably be aware by now that Peter passed away last week. I had already prepared this post, so it seems a shame to waste it.
He put his heart and soul into making ‘Grassy Bottom’ a special place both inside and out. I dedicate this website to him. I don’t know when I’ll be back.

Peter and I have had pet cats all our married life. The most we ever had at one time was 5 back in the 1990’s. You can read all about them in the following links. They were Linus, and his sister Grover, followed 3 years later by rescue kittens Dulcie, who was intent on using up all her nine lives and Creamer. Finally there was Jackson who was a local stray tom cat.
