In The Shed

I never thought I’d long for a return to the bad old days when our living room looked like a branch of B&Q, but I do at the moment.

I remember fondly the heady days of last summer when the shed doors were finally fitted. We were very pleased and filled it up with all our stuff in short order.

Sadly the winter weather, cold and damp has caused the doors to warp, despite my many hours of work with primer, undercoat etc. even Peter lent a hand, and now they won’t open.

Thankfully, some of my more mundane tools, trowel, secateurs, loppers, have spent the winter in the porch, but now I’m getting to the stage where I need other things. Spade, fork, canes, plant pots.

Peter could resolve the problem, but here’s the snag, everything he needs to do it is, you’ve guessed it, in the shed!!
