Just Like Old Times

Adrian fitted the new door on the porch before Xmas but just like in the old Flanders and Swan song, ‘The Gas Man Cometh’, (you have to be of a certain age to understand that) it revealed short comings in the brickwork on the corner, which would need serious attention after Xmas.
I was poorly in the New Year so it wasn’t until mid February that he returned to do the work.
The first job was to carefully remove the old bricks
Then put it all back together.
Just like old times – but not quite.
