Understated

Regular readers might have gathered by now that I like bright colours. Nothing pleases me more than seeing my ‘Spring’ flower bed in full bloom.
But sometimes even I can see beauty in more understated arrangements.
Take our log pile with periwinkle and holly for example. (Click on the picture to enlarge it and get the full benefit of the understatedness!)
You see even I can do subtle sometimes!
