There’s Nothing Like It

There’s nothing quite like the smell of the first cut grass of the year. I’m hoping when things get sorted out in the garden Terry will resume his grass cutting duties, but until then I’ll be cutting it, and that’s what I did on a lovely, sunny Monday morning. The smell was wonderful.

Elsewhere, you might remember we had finished Friday with the garage wrapped up for the weekend,

by Monday afternoon it looked like this.

Yesterday the weather was far less kind and the threat of rain was never far away. Here is the garage by close of play with it’s central pillar and the beginnings of the internal wall between the garage and shed.

More bricks are being delivered today and tomorrow the scaffolding man should be coming.
