Rather appropriately I spent yesterday cutting up boxes. I thought I’d put all that behind me back in August.
The reason for this unexpected task is Peter’s recent assault on EBay, in his bid to amass a collection of ‘Tango’ glass.
Originating in Czechoslovakia Tango glass is brightly coloured and quite quirky and as it dates from the 1930’s is a perfect addition to ‘Grassy Bottom’.
You could be forgiven for thinking that Xmas might not be the best time for ordering delicate glass items through the post, but to the credit of Royal Mail and ‘MyHermes’ all items arrived intact.
I’m also pleased to report that Leonard loves his Xmas present, they’re already inseparable,
and before the ‘eagle-eyed’ among you think I failed to hoover the Chinese rug for Xmas, let me explain, the only thing I failed to do was teach Leonard how to wipe his feet before he comes indoors!
