Spring? What Spring?

On Wednesday it snowed more in one day than it has done during the entire winter. What’s that about? It certainly doesn’t feel like Spring. Although the lying snow soon went, the rain was never far away blowing in and then out again on a brisk, bitterly cold wind.
Dodging the showers and in an attempt to cheer myself up I had another go at taking a picture of my Spring flower border. Instead of standing up, as with previous attempts, this time I tried laying flat on the grass. I’m pretty pleased with the result, but wouldn’t recommend it as a method in these wintry conditions.
How I suffer for my art!!!
