An Inspector Calls

Week 16 consisted mostly of ‘finishing off’ type jobs. Why is it that such seemingly small things seem to drag on for days? Also we’ve got the pleasure of another visit from ‘Stand-up Steve’ to look forward to, as we have a leaking radiator.
But the main event of the week was always going to be the visit of the building inspector on Friday lunchtime to, hopefully, sign off all the work.
Thankfully, that’s exactly what he did, and told us our building certificate will be in the post. We all breathed a sigh of relief.
The only thing now is for Adrian to do some work on the chimney cowl to stop rain water running down my nice, newly painted chimney breast behind the cooker.
He was going to do it Friday, but it was a bit breezy so decided against it. Good decision in my opinion, as I’m already scared about him going on the roof.
I’ll get a photo when he does, if I dare look!
